Description

The F405 Mini is a lighter more compact version of the F405 Wing APP we all love and yet it doesn’t sacrifice on functionality. It is built on the same STM32 F405 chipset, using the ICM-42688-P gyro and a SPL006 barometer. This versatile flight controller works with both iNav and Ardupilot, making it suitable for a variety of fixed-wing models. The flight controller supports up to 11 PWM outputs for motor and servo control. There are 6 UARTs for connection to accessories like GPS, airspeed sensor etc. The FC accepts power supply by 2-6S LiPo batteries and it has both voltage and current sensors. 2 independent BECs are available too. The first 5V/2A for powering the flight controller, RC receiver, GPS module and other accessories. The second adjustable 5/6V – 4A to power the servos. One of the standout features of SpeedyBee controllers is their built-in wireless capability and this controller is no different. It also features built-in wireless capability which allows users to connect the FC to the SpeedyBee smartphone App via WiFi or Bluetooth. It also benefits from SpeedyBee’s new wireless tuning V2 function for a smoother, more reliable tuning experience. Other features, includes OSD and dual camera switching for analogue cameras. There is also an SD card slot on the board to log flight data. When it comes to setup, it’s made easy thanks to plug and play connectivity. For those who prefer to use permanent soldered connections, classic pads are also available as well.

F405 WING Mini
The flight controller uses a reliable STM32 F405 chipset and works with both iNav and Ardupilot. This makes the F405 Wing Mini an excellent choice for a variety of fixed-wing models.

ICM-42688-P gyro
This FC has a high quality ICM-42688-P gyro on board. The FC also has a built-in barometer (SPL006-001).

Wireless configuration
Thanks to the built-in WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities, it is possible to connect wirelessly to the flight controller. You can then easily configure the FC via the SpeedyBee and QGroundcontrol apps.

Wireless Firmware Flasher
With the SpeedyBee F405 WING Mini Flight Controller you can easily and wirelessly flash firmware.

Plug and Play
This SpeedyBee FC is equipped with plug for connecting a digital VTX, analog VTX, receiver, camera and GPS to make your build in no time. While SpeedyBee have designed this controller to minimise soldering, for those who prefer to, soldering is still possible via pads on the bottom of the board.

PWM outputs
Up to 11 PWM outputs are available for controlling the servos and motors.

VTOL Support
This FC supports Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL). Ardupilot’s QStabilize, QLoiter and QRTL modes allow vertical takeoff and landing.

SD card slot 

The Blackbox Flash Memory of this SpeedyBee FC can be expanded as desired via the SD card slot.
