The SpeedyBee F405 AIO brings innovation and value to the forefront, combining a flight controller and 40A 4-in-1 ESC into a single compact board. Measuring 33x33mm with a 25.5×25.5mm mounting pattern, this all-in-one design simplifies wiring, saves space, and reduces weight, making it ideal for 3-4″ drones and Cinewhoops. Itโs also well-suited for lightweight 5-inch builds, with compatibility for 3-6S input and a robust ESC pre-flashed with BlueJay firmware.
The board features a striking heatsink that enhances cooling while giving it a premium appearance. Beneath the surface, itโs powered by the dependable STM32F405 processor and ICM42688P gyro, ensuring precise and reliable flight control. Additional onboard features include an OSD for real-time flight data in your goggles, a barometer for altitude measurement, and 8MB of Blackbox memory for tuning and analysis.
With four full UARTs, you can connect peripherals such as GPS, ExpressLRS/Crossfire receivers, VTX, and more. There’s also an I2C connection, which is required for connecting an external compassesโideal for iNav users or those looking to add more advanced navigation features.
Dual BECs (5V and external 9V) provide flexibility for powering peripherals like VTXs, LEDs, and cameras.
While the FC includes an onboard USB-C port, SpeedyBee also provides a USB-C extension board for added convenience. This allows you to position an external USB port in a more accessible spot on your frame, making it especially practical for enclosed builds like Cinewhoops. Alternatively, you can skip using the USB entirely. Just like SpeedyBeeโs other flight controllers, bluetooth integration allows wireless configuration using the SpeedyBee app, making firmware updates and tuning hassle-free without the need for a laptop.
Whether youโre building a freestyle quad, a Cinewhoop, or a GPS drone, the SpeedyBee F405 AIO strikes a perfect balance of performance, reliability, and user-friendlinessโall at an accessible price. To top it off, SpeedyBee includes a soldering practice board with the controller. Whatโs not to like?
