The DYS Aria series of Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC) have been designed specifically for FPV racing, they support high currents while maintaining a small footprint and weight.

This 40A Slim ESC features a high-speed ARM Cortex MCU STM32F051 48MHz microprocessor to provide a quick, smooth response to all your throttle commands. It also runs the latest Blheli_32 firmware with support for multiple protocol including 500HZ PWM, Oneshot 125, Oneshot 42, Multishot and Dshot 150/300/600/1200.

The ESC is low profile and compact in size, saving weight and designed to fit neatly onto the arms of your racing drone.

With 32bit ARM Cortex MCU STM32F051 48MHz microprocessor, throttle 2048 resolution ratio, strong anti-interference capacity.
Built-in sensor provides information on temperature, output power, output current etc., also programmable for protection.
Support Blheli_32 firmware, can use the signal wire for online upgrade the firmware or change the configuration.
Current Meter to help show the current indication on the OSD.
With USB linker can program the throttle setting like support positive and negative, two-way mode, FPV 3D mode, motor speed, braking, PWM frequency, inlet angle speed setting, onboard RGB LED for customize colour, Beep etc.
It uses the self-adaption control system, can go automatic with all kinds of motors in the market. It currently supports up to 500HZ PWM, oneshot 125, oneshot 42, Multishot and Dshot 150/300/600/1200.
With special optimization the motor can have a smoother throttle curve, faster response, great power, and highly support the multi-axis, fixed-wing and helicopter.
The twisted-pair signal wire can lower the crosstalk, which will lead to a more stable flight.
MCU hardware, Driver circuit, Mosfet come with double voltage protection.
Mosfets have an Aluminium HeatSink installed to further aid cooling and improve efficiency

Advice

Here at Flying Tech we have a wide choice of electronic speed controllers (ESCs).

There are two main types of ESCs: 4-in-1 ESCs and single ESCs. A 4-in-1 ESC integrates four individual ESCs onto a single circuit board, each controlling a separate motor. A single ESC controls only one motor.

This 4-in-1 ESC is a more popular choice for racing quads, while single motor aircraft such as fixed wings would use a single ESC. Single ESCs are still used by some drone racers though, as after a crash or a burnt up ESC, they only have to replace one, not an entire 4-in-1 or stack which is a lot more costly. Single ESCs are also available which much greater current ratings (80amp +) so they are also used by power hungry multi-rotors, for example X-Class racing quads, professional camera flying “Cinelifters”.

When using individual ESCs, they typically need to be connected to a single power distribution board (PDB) or an “AIO flight controller” (a type of flight controller with integrated PDB) for power supply.

We are based in the UK, but ship to most worldwide destinations. Postage rates are calculated by the size/weight and shipment location. We process orders Monday to Friday and pride ourselves on our quick turnaround of orders - most UK orders will arrive the next day.

We are partnered with several delivery companies including Royal Mail, DHL, UPS and Parcel Force. If you have a special delivery requirement or would like to arrange a shop collection please contact us.

We offer FREE Shipping on UK orders over £99, weighing less than 1kg.
The courier options deliver Monday to Friday, Royal Mail delivers to residential addresses on Monday to Saturday.

For small low value orders our cheapest delivery service is Royal Mail First Class. For a guaranteed next day delivery we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery or one of our courier delivery options.
