One rule in the FPV industry is that drones will continue to get faster, stronger, and in turn – more power hungry. While some pilots may scoff at 70A ESCs for their current builds, many pilots are pushing high cell lipos along with high KV motors, which can be highly demanding on your electronics, especially ESCs.
This 70A ESC from DYS can satisfy those pilots or more typical users who may just have larger sized drones spinning larger motors, or even racewings with high amp draw motors. In any case, the Aria will give you the power you need built around the latest technology. It features a high-speed ARM Cortex MCU STM32F051 48MHz microprocessor to provide a quick, smooth response to all your throttle commands and comes pre-flashed with BLHeli_32 firmware. The ESCs supports lots of protocols including up to 500HZ PWM, oneshot 125, oneshot 42, Multishot and Dshot 150/300/600/1200. Other notable features include built in current sensor and programmable RGB LED.
Features:
- With 32bit ARM Cortex MCU STM32F051 48MHz microprocessor, throttle 2048 resolution ratio, strong anti-interference capacity.
- Built-in sensor provides information on temperature, output power, output current etc., also programmable for protection.
- Support Blheli_32 firmware, can use the signal wire for online upgrade the firmware or change the configuration.
- Current Meter to help show the current indication on the OSD.
- With USB linker can program the throttle setting like support positive and negative, two-way mode, FPV 3D mode, motor speed, braking, PWM frequency, inlet angle speed setting, onboard RGB LED for customize colour, Beep etc.
- It uses the self-adaption control system, can go automatic with all kinds of motors in the market. It currently supports up to 500HZ PWM, oneshot 125, oneshot 42, Multishot and Dshot 150/300/600/1200.
- With special optimization the motor can have a smoother throttle curve, faster response, great power, and highly support the multi-axis, fixed-wing and helicopter.
- The twisted-pair signal wire can lower the crosstalk, which will lead to a more stable flight.
- MCU hardware, Driver circuit, Mosfet come with double voltage protection.
- Mosfets have an Aluminium HeatSink installed to further aid cooling and improve efficiency
- Solder Pads for motor wires

Here at Flying Tech we have a wide choice of electronic speed controllers (ESCs).
There are two main types of ESCs: 4-in-1 ESCs and single ESCs. A 4-in-1 ESC integrates four individual ESCs onto a single circuit board, each controlling a separate motor. A single ESC controls only one motor.
This 4-in-1 ESC is a more popular choice for racing quads, while single motor aircraft such as fixed wings would use a single ESC. Single ESCs are still used by some drone racers though, as after a crash or a burnt up ESC, they only have to replace one, not an entire 4-in-1 or stack which is a lot more costly. Single ESCs are also available which much greater current ratings (80amp +) so they are also used by power hungry multi-rotors, for example X-Class racing quads, professional camera flying “Cinelifters”.
When using individual ESCs, they typically need to be connected to a single power distribution board (PDB) or an “AIO flight controller” (a type of flight controller with integrated PDB) for power supply.
