Description

The TBS DroneCAN GPS Module combines high-precision positioning with DroneCAN connectivity for modern flight controllers. Powered by the u-blox M9140 GNSS chip, it supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo constellations with SBAS and QZSS augmentation for enhanced reliability. Offering up to 25 Hz update rate and 92 tracking channels, it delivers exceptional accuracy with horizontal precision down to 1.5 m CEP and velocity accuracy of 0.05 m/s. Integrated 1 PPS output ensures precise timing for navigation and synchronisation tasks.

Built around an ARM Cortex-M3 MCU with CAN 2.0 A/B interface, the module transmits NMEA or UBX data at baud rates from 4800 to 921600 bps. The built-in QMC5883 compass adds heading data for complete navigation capability. LED indicators provide visual feedback for CAN communication, PPS status, and data output, making setup and diagnostics straightforward.
