This PM08D-CAN Power Module supply provides regulated 5.3V to flight controller from the battery while providing current consumption and battery voltage measurements to the Flight controller. This power module connects to compatible controllers via DroneCan Communication Protocol.
This Power Module has two 5.3V power output port with independent circuits, BEC IC and circuitry that can provide redundant power to the flight controller.
This power module is designed for vehicle with high power requirements. It comes housed in a aluminum heat sink case, protecting the module from external elements and actively dissipates heat generated during operation to ensures durability and optimal performance.
What is DroneCan: DroneCAN is the primary CAN protocol used by the ArduPilot and PX4 projects for communication with CAN peripherals. It is an open protocol with open communication, specification and multiple open implementations. More info here.
