This is the smallest full telemetry ACCST SBUS receiver from FrSky. FrSky R-XSR 2.4GHz 16CH ACCST Micro Receiver w/ S-Bus & CPPM.
FrSky ultra mini receiver R-XSR is the evolution of FrSky full range XSR receiver. The R-XSR is a standalone receiver with all the functions of XSR, in addition, it’s almost 1/3 size and 1/3 weight of XSR receiver. Moreover, it brings a brand new redundancy function which allows you to connect with it a separate slave Rx which will be used in the event of the master Rx losing signal. Finally, unlike the XSR, which uses direct soldered antennas, the R-XSR uses IPEX connectors that make it more convenient for you to replace antennas.
Please Note: There are two versions of the D16 EU LBT Firmware – 1.9 (this is the old version and most common) and 2.X (this is the latest version and commonly used by ACCESS radios set to D16 Mode). For binding to work, the firmware version on the receiver and transmitter module needs to match. Tip: Find out what version is running on your radio, this is done by going to the “Module / RX Version Page“. On a QX 7 / X9D radio this is done by holding Menu button to go into the Radio Setup Menu, press page button until “Version” menu shows, scroll to ‘Modules / RX Version” and press enter. FrSky now ship the R-XSR with version 2.X.X installed, if you need 1.9 we also sell this but charge a little more as we have to re-flash the receiver. You can also do this yourself using our 1.9 download.
