FrSky’s latest radios are all now running ACCESS protocol, which means you can’t bind with models running D8, unless you flash your new radio with the older ACCST protocol. The solution is this XJT transmitter module. It runs ACCST so you can attach it to your radio and then have the convenience of being able to bind with both protocols. This is the Lite version of the XJT module, which is designed to work with the FrSky Taranis series transmitters like X Lite S/Pro and X9 Lite (for radios with a JR module bay, use the regular XJT module).
Features:
- Compatible with FrSky Receivers using ACCST D16, D8, and LR12 mode
- High-speed digital module interface
- Telemetry data transmission supported
Binding Issues:
Some customers have reported problems binding with 3rd party D8 SPI receivers. Here is the solution:
- 1.Connect the FC and go to CLI.
- 2.Write the bind command:
- For Betaflight 4.x bind_rx_spi
- For Betaflight 3.x frsky_bind
- 3. Activate the bind function on the radio.
- 4. Go to the CLI and write Save
- 5. Stop the bind function on the radio
- 6. Reboot the FC
