Tarot’s TL4Q990 large quadcopter frame brings a series of standout design features that set it apart from the competition.
First, the TL4Q990 introduces an innovative folding structure. Unlike the typical umbrella-style folding mechanism, this frame uses a horizontal self-locking mechanism—just press a lever to release the arm and fold it away easily. Adding to the convenience, the T-shaped landing gear includes a quick-release feature, allowing for fast removal. These designs make the frame compact and easy to transport, especially with folding propellers.
The frame also boasts a clever battery compartment with a pull-out tray, allowing for quick and easy battery swaps.
With a wide body, the TL4Q990 offers ample space for flight electronics, as well as room for attaching sensors and other payloads. The empty take-off weight is around 5.8 kg, with a maximum payload capacity of 3 kg, making it suitable for carrying aerial photography equipment, including SLR cameras.
As with other Tarot products, the frame uses high-quality materials and well-machined parts, making it an excellent choice for those developing a UAV for professional applications. A compatible canopy (TL2853) is also available for this model.
Please note, this is the frame Kit only, electronics are not included.
