IMPORTANT: This receiver does not have PWM outputs — you cannot connect servos directly to it. The OrangeRx R617XL outputs CPPM and is intended for use with a flight controller or device that supports CPPM input. Please ensure your setup is compatible before purchasing.
The OrangeRx R617XL is a super small DSMX/DSM2 compatible receiver with a 6 channel CPPM output and diversity antennas.
The receiver’s small size makes it ideal for micro drones and small models, while its extra long antennas allow you to route them outside of your model for extended range and a robust link to your transmitter. Its CPPM output helps make for a neat installation as a single line connection removes the weight and mess of additional wire leads for each individual channel. This is ideal for use on small frames where space is at a premium. Lastly, the receiver also features “True Diversity” technology, which is especially important for long-range flights and in situations where you need that more robust reception.
OrangeRx receivers are built using original components, 32 bit MCUs and with state of the art SMT automation to ensure a quality product each and every time. Every single receiver is manufactured using impedance controlled PCBs with exact tuning to provide signal stability and range that exceeds any of the previous generation ORX products. In fact, our testing has shown that the R617XL exceeds the range of other receivers in the same class.
All R617XL OrangeRx satellite module receivers are QC tested using our latest method that ensures range checking takes place as the receiver is programmed. Simply put, if the R617XL cannot pass the range check it cannot be programmed, this ensures 100% of R617XL’s are guaranteed to work flawlessly. The R617XL ushers in a new era of quality, reliability and performance for the OrangeRx line up.
