Lemon’s DSMP 7-channel receiver is DSMX/DSM2 compatible receiver with dual diversity antennas which can be positioned differently to help ensure a reliable connection. There’s also a port to connect a satellite receiver to add further signal redundancy – the satellite can be a Lemon or a Spektrum, but it must be a DSMX compatible version (the Lemon LM0037A is recommended). The receiver supports failsafe for all channels, and the pre-set value can be set by the user.
The receiver works with virtually any Spektrum or compatible transmitter, including the first and second generation DX series, as well as the newer NX and iX transmitters. The receiver automatically switches mode between DSMX and DSM2 as required.
Unlike some other Spektrum compatible products, Lemon Rx products aren’t inferior to Spektrum products in terms of performance or reliability.
Failsafe
Failsafe will be activated when the receiver has lost signal for more than 2 seconds. Failsafe can only be set when within 60 seconds of powering on the Rx.
Activate all-channel failsafe:
– Power on the unit that is already bind to a transmitter with transmitter on
– Ensure green LED is off (failsafe is disabled prior to activation)
– Set the channel position required and stay still
– Press and hold the F button for 3 seconds until green LED is on.
Deactivate all-channel failsafe:
– Power on the unit
– Press and hold the F button for 3 seconds until green LED is off.
1S LiPo Application
The minimum recommended safe supply voltage is 3.5V
NOTE: The battery must be capable of maintaining that voltage while delivering the required maximum load current to the receiver and servos. In some cases you MAY be able to operate at a lower voltage (for example a well discharged 1S LiPo cell) but you must test it in practice to be sure.
Note: This is not a Spektrum product, nor is it a copy of any Spektrum product. Lemon RX develops its own technology to produce receivers which are fully DSM2 / DSMX compatible. Spketrum, DSMX and DSM2 are the registered trademark of Horizon Hobby, Inc.
