Introducing the second generation DSMP 10-channel telemetry receiver with built in gyro stabilizer from Lemon Rx. The Rx has undergone a complete redesign, resulting in ultimate reliability, new features and top level performance.
The Lemon LM0087VP is ten channel DSMX/DSM2 compatible receiver that combines full-range telemetry functions with the well proven Lemon stabilizer technology to provide AS3X®-type stabilization. The stabilizer when activated works to ‘smooth out the bumps’ otherwise known as rate stabilization. It does not auto level. Only minimal setup and calibration is required for both electric and gasoline engine applications. The stabilizer comes with three potentiometers for individual gain tuning. It has gyro activation with either AUX2 or Gear channel. Additionally, it offers a stabilization always-on feature and real-time variable stabilization gain control on channel 8.
In regards to the telemetry function, built-in sensors provide receiver voltage, internal temperature, and RSSI (signal strength). In addition, a precision barometric sensor reports altitude and vertical speed (vario). This package is then further enhanced with a choice of voltage probe for measuring total flight pack voltage or energy meter which measures voltage/current – please select as required. With the energy meter, real-time measurements of current allows the amount discharged from the pack in mAh to be read.
Lemon telemetry is displayed using the your radio’s display screen and, where available, the transmitter’s voice capability. The transmitter can set alarms, in some cases just tones but often voice announcements. For example, an alarm tone and warning can sound when the flight pack voltage drops to a preset value or if the models exceeds a certain height above ground.
Despite its low cost, the receiver offers long range and high performance with its “dual diversity” antenna system. A Lemon DSMP satellite receiver can be added to further enhance signal reliability, but is not normally required. Failsafe is supported for all channels.
The unit works with virtually any Spektrum or compatible transmitter with five channels or more, including the first and second-generation DX series, as well as the newer NX and iX transmitters. The receiver automatically switches mode between DSMX and DSM2 as required. An eight or more-channel transmitter with voice capability allows use of all the available functionality. It can also work with open-source transmitters such as Taranis and Turnigy 9XR using an add-on DSM2 or DSMX compatible modules, as well as with Multiprotocol transmitters such as Jumper and RadioMaster.
Lemon also make a 7 channel version of this receiver.

Setup Advice:
To reset the stabilizer, connect the power and hold the F and B buttons for approximately 5 seconds until all LEDs flash randomly. Then, press the C button, and multiple LEDs will flash a few times to complete the operation.
To bind with a bind plug, insert the bind plug on Channel 10 and connect power. To bind without a bind plug, connect power and hold the B button until the red LED flashes. To bind with a satellite without a bind plug, connect power, hold the B button until the red LED flashes, disconnect power, plug the satellite wire connector into the stabilizer, and connect power.
To set the failsafe, connect power to the receiver and ensure the servos are working with the transmitter. Press the F button for 3 seconds until green changes from off to on and vice versa to change the failsafe setting. The channel value is saved as failsafe default at the time the green LED turns on. Turn off the transmitter and wait 2 seconds to ensure the failsafe is activated accordingly by ensuring there is torque generated with finger-pushing the servo linkage if it was to be set. Vice versa.
To activate the stabilization switch, disconnect power, insert the bind plug to channel 8, hold the C button, and connect power. Wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash, then release the C button. Press C to make changes within 3 seconds. Green = CH7, Blue = CH5. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the bind plug.
For wing mode and dual aileron configuration, disconnect power, insert the bind plug to channel 9, hold the C button, and connect power. Wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash, then check the receiver label/user manual to understand the referred LEDs’ operation. Release the C button and observe which red LED is flashing. Briefly press C to select the required mode, press C to toggle between settings. On means selected. Exit automatically in 5 seconds. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the bind plug. Ensure transmitter mixing is set accordingly for dual aileron if stabilized dual aileron is to be configured.
For gyro direction, check the receiver label/user manual to understand the referred LEDs’ operation. Connect power and wait 1 second, then hold the C button and wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash. Release the C button and observe.
