Introducing the second generationย DSMP 7-channel telemetry receiver with built in gyro stabilizerย from Lemon Rx. ย The Rxย has undergone a complete redesign, resulting in ultimate reliability, new features and top level performance.
The Lemon LM0086 is seven channel DSMX/DSM2 compatible receiver that combines full-range telemetry functions with the well proven Lemon stabilizer technology to provide AS3Xยฎ-type stabilization. The stabilizer when activatedย works to ‘smooth out the bumps’ otherwise known asย rate stabilization.ย It does not auto level. Only minimal setup andย calibration is required for both electric and gasoline engine applications.ย The stabilizer comes with three potentiometers for individual gain tuning. Itย has gyro activation with either AUX2 or Gear channel.ย Additionally, it offers a stabilization always-on feature andย real-time variable stabilization gain control on channel 8.
In regards to theย telemetry function, built-in sensors provide receiver voltage, internal temperature, and RSSI (signal strength). In addition, a precision barometric sensor reports altitude and vertical speed (vario).ย This package is then further enhanced with a choice of voltage probe for measuring total flight pack voltageย or energy meter whichย measuresย voltage/current – please select as required. With the energy meter, real-time measurements ofย current allows the amount discharged from the pack in mAh to be read.
Lemon telemetry is displayed using the your radio’s displayย screenย and, where available, the transmitterโs voice capability. The transmitter can set alarms, in some cases just tones but often voice announcements. For example, an alarm tone and warning can sound when the flight pack voltage drops to a preset value or if the models exceeds a certain height above ground.
Despite its low cost, the receiverย offers long range and high performance with its โdual diversityโ antenna system. A Lemon DSMP satellite receiver can be added to further enhance signal reliability,ย but is not normally required. Failsafe is supported for all channels.
The unit works with virtually any Spektrum or compatible transmitter with five channels or more, including the first and second-generation DX series, as well as the newer NX and iX transmitters. The receiver automatically switches mode between DSMX and DSM2 as required. An eight or more-channel transmitter with voice capability allows use of all the available functionality. It can also workย with open-source transmitters such as Taranis and Turnigy 9XR using an add-on DSM2 or DSMX compatible modules, as well as with Multiprotocol transmitters such as Jumper and RadioMaster.
Lemon make another versions of this receiver that boasts 10 control channels. The 10 channel version also adds support for power redundancy by providing dual power inputs to enhanced reliability.

Setup Advice:
To reset the stabilizer, connect power, hold the F and B buttons for approximately five seconds until all LEDs flash randomly, then press the C button. Multiple LEDs flash a few times to complete the operation.
To bind the stabilizer with a bind plug, insert the bind plug on Channel 7 and connect power. To bind without a bind plug, connect power and hold the B button until the red LED flashes. To bind with a satellite without a bind plug, connect power, hold the B button until the red LED flashes, disconnect power, plug the satellite wire connector into the stabilizer, and connect power.
To change the failsafe setting, press the F button for three seconds until the green LED changes from off to on and vice versa. The channel value is saved as failsafe default at the time the green LED turns on. Turn off the transmitter and wait two seconds to ensure the failsafe is activated accordingly.
To activate stabilization, disconnect power, insert a bind plug to channel 5, hold the C button, connect power, wait for about one second until the six LEDs flash, release the C button, press C to make changes within three seconds, wait for three seconds, and remove the bind plug. Green represents CH7, and blue represents CH5.
To configure Wing Mode and Dual Aileron, disconnect power, insert a bind plug to channel 6, hold the C button, connect power, wait for about one second until the six LEDs flash, check the receiver label/user manual to understand the referred LEDs’ operation, release the C button, observe which red LED is flashing, and press C to select the required mode. Press C to toggle between settings. On means selected, and it exits automatically in five seconds. Wait for three seconds and remove the bind plug. Ensure transmitter mixing is set accordingly for dual aileron if stabilized dual aileron is to be configured.
To calibrate the V/I sensor or V/I probe, turn on the receiver and transmitter and plug in the V/I sensor. Ensure the required DC loading device such as a brushless motor with ESC as well as the current and voltage meter is connected. Press the button for two seconds but no more than five seconds, observe three green LED flashes, ensure 8.4V
