The Holybro H-RTK mosaic-G5 is a compact, high-precision dual-antenna RTK GNSS receiver designed for UAVs, robotics, and autonomous systems. Built around the Septentrio mosaic-G5 P3H module, it delivers centimetre-level RTK positioning together with accurate GNSS-based heading and pitch or roll measurements.
Dual-antenna GNSS heading reduces reliance on magnetic compasses, making it particularly useful on aircraft where motors, power wiring, metallic structures, and other sources of magnetic interference can affect compass accuracy. An integrated RM3100 magnetometer provides an additional backup heading source.
The mosaic-G5 supports quad-band GNSS positioning in single-antenna operation and tri-band heading in dual-antenna operation, providing broad multi-constellation coverage. Compared with the higher-end H-RTK mosaic-H, the G5 offers a more cost-effective solution focused on high-accuracy positioning and dual-antenna heading, while retaining the same quoted centimetre-level RTK and heading accuracy. The mosaic-H remains the better choice where features such as higher measurement rates, Ethernet/web configuration, OSNMA, raw measurements and broader protocol support are required.
Septentrio’s advanced GNSS+ technologies further improve reliability in demanding environments. AIM+ provides jamming and spoofing detection with automatic interference mitigation, while LOCK+, APME+, IONO+ and RAIM+ improve tracking resilience under vibration, multipath and ionospheric disturbances.
The receiver also features onboard microSD data logging, USB-C and dual UART connectivity, and is supplied with two high-performance GNSS antennas, antenna mounts and connection cables. A rugged CNC-machined aluminium enclosure protects the receiver while maintaining a compact form factor suitable for integration into UAV and autonomous platforms.
