FMS Reflex V3 Bluetooth Gyro Flight Controller for RC Aircraft

The FMS Reflex V3 Bluetooth Gyro Flight Controller is a compact stabilisation system designed to make fixed-wing RC aircraft easier, smoother and more confidence-inspiring to fly. Suitable for both FMS aircraft and other compatible RC aeroplanes, Reflex V3 combines a 3-axis gyro and 3-axis accelerometer with three selectable flight modes, allowing you to choose anything from full self-levelling assistance to completely manual control.

Stabilized Mode is ideal for beginners or whenever you want maximum assistance. When the sticks are released, Reflex uses gyro and accelerometer data to rapidly return the aircraft towards level flight. This makes take-offs and general flying more forgiving and provides a useful recovery mode if you become disorientated.

For more experienced pilots, Optimized Mode provides gyro stabilisation without taking away normal control. It automatically counters disturbances such as gusts and crosswinds, helping the aircraft track more smoothly and giving smaller, lighter models a more planted feel.

Manual Mode switches the gyro assistance off completely for unrestricted manual flying.

The big upgrade with Reflex V3 is built-in Bluetooth connectivity. Using the FMSHOBBY mobile app, pilots can connect directly to the controller and adjust its parameters without removing it from the aircraft. FMS aircraft can use model-specific presets, while a Customised Model option allows Reflex V3 to be configured for non-FMS aircraft too. The app provides adjustment of aileron, elevator and rudder parameters, with additional gyro settings available when configuring other models.

Reflex V3 supports SBUS, PPM and conventional PWM receiver connections, automatically recognising the input system, and is compatible with radio systems using four channels or more. At its core is a high-speed 32-bit ARM processor paired with solid-state 3-axis gyro and accelerometer sensors.

Flight modes can be assigned to a transmitter switch. With a three-position switch you can access Stabilized, Manual and Optimized modes, while a two-position setup switches between Stabilised and Optimised modes.
