This is FrSky’s R9 MM OTA (Over the Air) version, which implements the new ACCESS protocol. It has all of the functions of the standard R9 MM but brings with it support for new features associated with ACCESS, such as wireless firmware updates and binding. As with all receiver’s in the R9 range, the R9 MM offers a long range, super low latency control link.
The R9 MM’s compact form factor design is also carried over to the OTA version, and the R9 MM-OTA supports inverted S.Port as well (it keeps an uninverted S.Port too). The receiver also comes with the upgrade Dipole T antenna to enhance reception and get the best long-range performance.
