This 1S charge cable allows you to charge multiple 1S batteries at the same time using a regular LiPo battery charger. The cable is wired in series, it’s not a parallel charge lead. Using the 4in1 lead with four cells connected, your LiPo battery charger will detect it as a four cell LiPo; the individual batteries essentially each becoming a cell and you will see their cells voltages on the charger. The advantage of charging in series, allows you to use your existing LiPo battery charger to accurately balance charge multiple cells at the same. You can also storage charge the 1S batteries and measure their internal resistance if your charger has those functions.
The charge cable has an XT30/XT60 (please select as required) Female plug for connecting to your balance charger. For those that require 4mm banana plus, you can use this adapter cable with the XT30 version and this adapter cable with XT60 version.
Please note, if you use the 4-way cable you must connect 4 cells to it, 6 for the 6-way – you could connect fewer but it would require a jumper for the missing batteries. Only use this cable to charge batteries together of the same type, capacity and brand. The charge rate should be set according to the capacity of individual batteries (not the combined capacity of all batteries connected) – for example if you connected 4x 300mAh LiPos, set your charger to 0.3A for 1C NOT 1.2A! Don’t leave unattended while charging or discharging. We recommend charging your batteries inside a protective charging bag well away from anything combustable.
Features:
- Charge multiple 1SÂ LiPos at the same time using a regular RC hobby balance charge
- Designed for use with JST-PH 2.0 AKA mCPX, ultra micro, powerwhoop connector
- Much faster method of charging than single cell 1S chargers
- Allows you to balance charge and storage charge cells individually
We urge all of our customers to always practice appropriate caution when charging lithium polymer packs. Never leave your battery charging unattended & do not leave batteries in direct sunlight. For more guidance, see the ‘advice’ tab.
