AtomRC is Skyzone’s partner company for FPV fixed wings. Skyzone is of course specialist in FPV products, in particular analog FPV goggles.
This video transmitter is suitable for long range FPV, offering an adjustable power output. It has 200mW, 800mW and 1200mW power levels. As it comes with a fan for active cooling, the transmitter can be used in ground-based applications where airflow is limited.
Changing channels and power level is quick and easy via a selection button or the option of remote OSD control via the IRC Tramp Protocol when used with a flight controller. The ability to change channels quickly really comes into its own for professional applications and at drone racing events, when lots of people are operating on the same channel. Furthermore the built in display makes it easy to check on the channel selection.
The VTX is easy to wire up as it can be powered straight from your flight battery without the need for a UBEC as it supports a wide input voltage (7-26V). The VTX has a MMCX antenna connector and a MMCX to SMA pigtail adapter is also included.
