Skyzone VT1225 1.2G 2.5W VTX – 1.2GHz 2.5W with CNC Case and Fan

The Skyzone VT1225 – 1.2 GHz 2.5 W is a powerful long-range analogue video transmitter designed for pilots who fly in challenging environments where penetration and stability matter most. Compared to common 5.8 GHz systems, the lower-frequency 1.2 GHz band offers superior diffraction, stronger resistance to interference, and clearer, more stable video over extended distances—making it ideal for long-range builds and complex terrain.

Housed in a rugged CNC-machined aluminium case, the VT1225 is built to handle high-power operation while efficiently shedding heat. An integrated cooling fan actively manages thermal load at higher output levels, helping maintain consistent performance during extended flights and high-duty use.

The VTX features wide power-output adjustment (25 mW / 800 mW / 1600 mW / 2500 mW) along with dual frequency bands providing a total of 16 channels for flexible setup and compatibility with a variety of ground-station receivers. Standard 30.5 × 30.5 mm mounting holes allow easy installation directly into a flight-controller stack or frame bay.

FrSky R9 / TBS Crossfire Users – these radio control systems can interference with the 1G3 video link as they operate on adjoining frequencies. To help reduce interference we recommend fitting a notch filter or using a 5.8Ghz relay station so that the 1G3 VRX can be positioned away from your radio control.
