Most 5.8Ghz FPV video receivers provide only an AV output, which means they can’t be used with a lot of modern displays that don’t have composite video input. The nice thing about the RC832-HD receiver is that it has both an AV output and a mini HDMI output so it can be connected to most displays. Its HDMI output upscales the video output to 1080P or 720P (select via the switch). You can also output via the AV connection simultaneously with the HDMI output, so the Rx can feed two displays at once. The latency on the AV output is slightly less than the HDMI output, around 20ms vs. 40ms for the HDMI output.

Hi, yes the HDMI can output video/audio and could be connected to a HDMI input display (your laptop would need to support HDMI input).
Can it be used for receiving videos from analogous FPV drones?

A Yes this product only works with drones using analog 5.8GHz FPV (it cannot work with digital FPV systems like DJI or Walksnail).
