The ISDT BG-18S Smart Battery Checker & Cell Monitor makes it quick and easy to check the health of high-voltage lithium battery packs. Designed for 12–18S (10–90V) batteries, it provides accurate readings of total pack voltage and individual cell voltages, helping you quickly spot imbalances or potential issues before use.
Simply connect via the balance port to instantly view cell data on the bright 2.4″ colour IPS display. The BG-18S also shows key information such as highest and lowest cell voltage and overall voltage difference, giving you a clear picture of pack condition at a glance. A built-in low voltage alarm adds an extra layer of safety during checks.
With support for LiPo, LiHv, LiFe, and ULiHv batteries, plus multiple connection options including AS150U-M and Molex balance ports, it’s a versatile tool for both RC and industrial high-voltage battery setups. Compact and lightweight, it’s ideal for use in the workshop or out in the field.

A LiPo alarm / tester is a must have piece of equipment for any flight box. LiPo batteries require careful management to maximise their life; they can be charged up to 4.20V and discharged down to 3.0V per cell. Any lower or higher in voltage and the cell will almost certainly be irreversibly damaged (reduced capacity or total inability to accept a charge). Furthermore, a damaged cell may become unstable which can be very dangerous (increased fire risk). A LiPo alarm / voltage tester is therefore an essential piece of kit to monitor the status of your individual cells and avoid damaging them.
Most pilots who fly without a telemetry feed use a LiPo Alarm on board their craft to alert them as to when it’s time to land – it’s recommended to set your alarm to 3.6V to give you enough time to land safely.
