First things first, this isn’t a watch, it won’t tell you the time! While it may look like a watch, it is in fact a very neat FPV monitor shrunk into the form of a watch so that it is wearable. It’s ready for FPV so it features a built in 48CH 5.8GHz Receiver and Omni Directional Whip Antenna, which actually receives a surprisingly good reception for such a small unit. The watch itself is very easy to use; there’s one button to power it on and then another to select the frequency. Useย a long press to select the band and a short press to select the channel. The watch is powered from its built-in battery that has a runtime of about 1hr and can be recharged via a 5v USB.
While the screen is only 2.6โ, which is someย what limiting as a primary FPV display, it’s not without its uses. The mini screen really comes into its own for quickly testing FPV setups and configuring your quad using the BF OSD without having to put your goggles on. It’s also great for sharing around amongst curious spectators to give them an idea of what FPV is all about. Finally, with the strap removed it can be attached to your radio transmitter using a 3D printed mount or even just with Velcro, which not only looks pretty cool, but will definitely come in handy too.
The Watch can be used as aย mini FPV display forย your radio transmitter.
