Looking for a powerful, efficient motor for your next heavy-lift multi-rotor project? This pancake-style brushless motor from Flash Hobby could be the ideal solution.
Designed to deliver nearly 4 kg of thrust, this motor meets the demanding requirements of 800 to 1200 size multi-rotors. Optimized for 6S battery setups, it generates 0.9 kg to 1.48 kg of thrust with 1555 to 1855 propellers at 50% throttle, and achieves a maximum thrust of approximately 3.75 kg when paired with an 1855 propeller.
The motor’s 5208 size features a wide, thin “pancake” design, offering excellent torque and efficiency. With a high pole count of 22P, it delivers smooth, responsive power, while maximising efficiency for longer flight times and better overall performance. It’s low profile form also aids better cooling due to the increased surface area in comparison to traditional cylindrical motors, which is beneficial for high-performance applications.
Built with premium materials, the motor features 48SH magnets, high-temperature copper wire, and NMB bearings imported from Japan, ensuring durability, quiet operation, and a long lifespan. A precision-balanced rotor further reduces vibration for smoother performance. Additionally, the motor includes a screw-lock shaft, which offers easier servicing and greater reliability compared to the C-clip alternative used by cheaper motors.
Each motor includes extra long 55cm 18AWG silicone wires for easy integration into your setup.
