The RunCam SkyGuy Tracker is a standalone lost model finder designed to help recover FPV drones, RC aircraft and other models after a crash or unexpected landing. For a relatively small addition to your setup, it could save an expensive model that might otherwise be lost for good. The system consists of a compact transmitter fitted to your model and a handheld receiver used to guide you towards it.
Rather than relying solely on GPS, the SkyGuy uses signal strength to help determine the direction of the lost model. Simply move in the direction where the displayed signal becomes stronger. Once nearby, the receiver can remotely activate the transmitter’s built-in buzzer and LED, making it much easier to pinpoint a model hidden in long grass, trees or other difficult terrain.
For even easier recovery, the transmitter can be connected to an external GPS module, allowing GPS coordinates to be displayed directly on the SkyGuy receiver. GPS is not built in or included. We recommend pairing the system with the SpeedyBee BZGNSS BZ-181 GPS.
The transmitter weighs just 11g (13g including its antenna), while both the transmitter and receiver have rechargeable batteries providing approximately 5 hours of operation. RunCam quotes an effective range of approximately 900m in environments such as woodland, parks and hilly terrain, although actual range will vary with obstacles and interference.
The transmitter and receiver are housed in 3D-printed cases.

Smaller, lower-value orders may be sent via Airmail or tracked postal services. Economy road and express air courier options are available depending on destination.
