Designed around a bright 5-inch LCD screen with 800×480 resolution, what sets the LS-800D apart is its innovative split design. The goggles’ casing can be detached, allowing the screen to function independently as a standalone FPV monitor. This dual-purpose capability makes it ideal not only for pilots who want immersive flight views but also for spectators, camera setup, or bench testing. When used as a monitor, its 300cd/m² brightness ensures the display remains clearly visible even in outdoor lighting conditions.
Meanwhile, the built-in 5.8GHz 40-channel diversity receiver, including RaceBand support, automatically selects the stronger video signal for a stable, reliable feed. It comes equipped with both a mushroom antenna and a directional patch antenna; offering improved signal reception right out of the box, with better range and penetration than standard dipoles.
The onboard DVR records your flight footage directly to a microSD card (up to 32GB supported – not included), using MJPEG encoding. With adjustable file segment lengths (3, 5, or 10 minutes), it’s easy to manage recordings and review flights later – whether for analysis, sharing, or just reliving your sessions.
Powered by a built-in 2000mAh Li-ion battery offering up to two hours of runtime, the LS-800D is portable and easy to use at the field.
