This is the diversity receiver version of Hawkeye’s fantastic Little Pilot 5inch FPV Monitor. The inclusion of a 5.8GHz diversity receiver is a real bonus and a good choice for those seeking longer range from their FPV. A diversity receiver is essentially two receivers combined together. This allows you two mix and match antennas for a solid video link. So it might be that you select a circular polarised omnidirectional antenna, which will provide good reception in all directions in the near field, and a directional high gain patch antenna for long distance flights. The diversity receiver is clever in that it will seamlessly switch between the receiver with the strongest signal.
A new feature added to the V4 model is the inclusion of a DVR. This allows you to record video/audio on a MicroSD memory card (not included, supports max 32GB). It is also possible to review the recorded footage on the monitor.
As before, this version of the monitor features the same 5inch high resolution LCD display as other models and integrated rechargeable battery, with a runtime of approx. 2.5hrs. It also comes complete with its own handy radio transmitter mount and FPV antennas.
