If you are a YouTube content creator or just a casual videographer, then a field monitor is a useful tool to invest in. After all, checking your shot’s framing in a tiny camera display isn’t the best way to guarantee you have taken the best video. A field monitor can be mounted directly onto a camera, tripod, or other support gear; allowing you to quickly review footage, making it an essential tool for video and photography work on the go.
The Lilliput A5 is a nifty little 5 inch screen. It offers a HD 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, 460 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170° viewing angle. Furthermore, the A5 has a plenitude of advanced functions to assist with your shooting. Namely – Timecodes, Pixel Zoom Function, Audio Level Meters, Peaking, False Colour, Histograms, Exposures, Check Fields, Colour Bars, Pixel to Pixel, and Image flips.
Power to the monitor can be provided via a DC input (12v) or using a Sony NP-F970 battery or a Canon LP-E6 battery (not included), via the integrated battery plate on the reverse of the monitor.
