The FrSky Tandem X18RS is a feature-rich, high-performance transmitter designed for pilots who demand top-tier control and long-range reliability. Like other models in the X18 series, it supports true dual-band operation on both 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz. However, the X18RS introduces a major upgrade with support for FrSky’s new 2.4G TWIN protocol (TW)—a first for the X18 range—bringing enhanced RF performance, lower latency, and greater signal robustness.
At its core is the TD-ISRM RS module, which supports TD, TW (TWIN), ACCESS 2.4GHz, ACCST D16, and R9 modes. It also allows simultaneous operation of ACCESS 2.4GHz and R9 receivers via SBUS for redundant failover—boosting reliability in critical long-range scenarios. The radio includes connectors for external 2.4G and 900M antennas to further enhance performance when operating in LoRa mode.
The upgraded antenna handle is reinforced for better impact resistance and improved ergonomics. Trim caps and knobs are CNC machined from metal, while the MC18 hall-sensor gimbals—also CNC metal—offer adjustable stick travel (45° or 60°) to suit different flying styles. A high-brightness 800×480 touchscreen delivers excellent visibility outdoors, powered by FrSky’s intuitive ETHOS operating system.

We are based in the UK, but ship to most worldwide destinations. Postage rates are calculated by the size/weight and shipment location. We process orders Monday to Friday and pride ourselves on our quick turnaround of orders - most UK orders will arrive the next day.
We are partnered with several delivery companies including Royal Mail, DHL, UPS and Parcel Force. If you have a special delivery requirement or would like to arrange a shop collection please contact us.

- The courier options deliver Monday to Friday, Royal Mail delivers to residential addresses on Monday to Saturday.
For small low value orders our cheapest delivery service is Royal Mail First Class. For a guaranteed next day delivery we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery or one of our courier delivery options.
