This is the latest version of the X10S which benefits from a Faster Baud Rate making it compatible with TBS Crossfire without requiring the Inverter MOD.
The FRSky Horus X10S has been updated to use FrSky’s latest ACCESS communication protocol technology. ACCESS brings with it a whole host of new features. The number of available channels has been increased to 24, the baud rate is faster and the latency has been lowered. Another new feature is the spectrum analyzer that allows a pilot to check the 2.4Ghz band for noise before flying.
There have been hardware updates to the X10S too. The transmitter has support for charging 2S Li-ion batteries via USB. The battery compartment is now accessible with space for 18650 Li-ion batteries, so you can carry spares to mean you can be flying all day long.
The FrSky RC Express version carries forward all the best features of its predecessor, such as the industrial LCD colour screen and the high-precision M10 / MC12P Hall sensor gimbals that provide the most precise control. There’s also an array of programmable switches and built-in 6-axis sensor for further control. The Horus utilises voice alerts from internal stereo speakers or headphone jack, for things like; audible countdown timers, low voltage warnings, landing gear down warnings etc., Just about anything can be programmed. To enhance this further there is haptic feedback to notify you by vibrating the transmitter when needed. The SD card slot offers unlimited memory options and a USB port for upgrades. In addition, you have a remarkable PARA radio trainer function that also makes it compatible with the FrSky Free Link app and AirLink S. All this makes the X10 / X10S Express version an ideal transmitter for gliders, helicopters, multi-rotors and all kinds of fixed wings.
The Horus comes with FrSky’s own easy to use FrOS (operating system) and supports OpenTX as well.
