The Detrum 8C from Dynam is an 8 channel digital radio transmitter with a 30 model memory. The radio is the perfect starting point for beginner airplanes, helicopters and drones. Equally it has all of the main programing functions to mean that the radio will carry you through to more advance setups. Functions include configuration for servo end points, servo sub trim, dual rates, expo, throttle hold, pre-set mixes for different airplane types, a range of 2 and 3 position programmable switches, timers, failsafe support and a range test mode.
A range of receivers is available to match the 8C radio, including some that have a built in gyro and maybe of most interest, the SR86A-G that comes with a GPS module and provides a return to home function. Best of all, these receivers can be setup wirelessly in real time via the programing menus on the 8C, making the configuration nice and easy, no PC required!
Features:
Suitable for various aircraftsÂ
It is suitable for airplanes, helicopters, multi-rotors and other aircrafts. It has a 30 model memory.
Long distance remote control
The R/C system adopts 2.4GHz direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) and multiple frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technologies. It has high receiving sensitivity and strong anti-interference capability. It can support a stable remote control for more than 1,000 meters on the ground and more than 1,600 meters in the air.
Wireless IC
Adopting powerful wireless chips, extended with power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA), can maximize the system output power while reducing the system noise factor, thereby improving the signal coverage.
All-angle antennaÂ
The transmitter uses excellent linear all-band gain antenna, can greatly improve the transmitting efficiency, thereby enhancing the stability of the R/C system. The receiver adopts diversity antenna, combined with the signal detection and switching algorithm, the receiving signal is stable and reliable.
Fast response
The response time is only 2.6ms, across 8 channels as it acts synchronously.
LCD
Designed with a straightforward menu and intuitive graphical interface, displayed on a high-resolution dot-matrix LCD screen.
Unique ID codeÂ
Each transmitter has an individually assigned, unique ID code. Once the binding is made, the ID code is stored in the receiver and no further binding is necessary after restarting the receiver.
Fail safe functionÂ
If the aircraft flies out of the remote control range and cannot receive a valid RF signal from the transmitter, the receiver’s outputs can be driven to their preset failsafe positions.
Ergonomic DesignÂ
Hand grips enables users to hold the transmitter easily. There’s also adjustable stick lever tension with four stick modes you can choose from to match your style.
Low voltage alarmÂ
Detecting the input voltage of the transmitter in real time, it will alarm in advance when it is low battery voltage. This will bring greater security for flight operation.
USB UpgradeÂ
Micro USB port provides connectivity for firmware updates and RC flight simulator cable (not supplied)
Compatible with Detrum Gyro / GPS recieversÂ
The 8C can be used to wirelessly setup compatible Detrum gyro receivers, for example settings such as roll/pitch/yaw gains, flight mode, wing type, etc.
Compatible Receivers:
- RXC6 – 6 channels
- RXC8Â – 8 channels PWM / PPM
- MSR66AÂ – 6 channels with Gyro
- SR86AÂ –Â Â 8Â channels with Gyro
- SR86A-GÂ – 8 channels with Gyro &Â GPS
Required: 4x AA Battery
