The Walksnail Avatar GT2 Kit delivers long-range HD video, ultra-low latency, and improved efficiency, making it a serious upgrade over the original Avatar system.
Built around an integrated VTX and flagship Sony Starvis II camera, the GT2 offers up to 20km range with as little as 22ms latency, giving you a responsive, real-time flying experience. The system features dynamic power output up to 2W with fast frequency hopping, helping maintain a stable video link even in challenging RF environments.
Compared to the original Avatar GT kit, the GT2 brings a more efficient design with over 30% lower power consumption, active cooling via an integrated fan, and improved thermal performance—ideal for longer, more demanding flights. The updated hardware also adds USB-C connectivity and a refined interface layout for easier setup and data access.
The Avatar Pro camera uses a 1/1.8″ Sony Starvis II sensor to deliver excellent low-light performance and balanced exposure, producing clear, detailed footage in a wide range of conditions. Onboard recording is supported via a spring-loaded microSD card slot (up to 256GB), allowing you to capture HD footage directly from the VTX.
With support for Canvas Mode OSD and compatibility with Betaflight, INAV, ArduPilot and more, integration into your build is straightforward. The GT2 also supports head tracking (with compatible equipment), adding a more immersive flying experience without complex setup.

We are based in the UK and ship to most destinations worldwide.
We dispatch orders during the times shown on our Dispatch Schedule. Orders placed before the daily dispatch cutoff will ship the same day (subject to stock availability). Orders placed after the cutoff will ship on the next scheduled dispatch day.

Smaller, lower-value orders may be sent via Airmail or tracked postal services. Economy road and express air courier options are available depending on destination. For faster delivery, we recommend express air courier services such as DHL Express, which typically deliver within 1–2 working days across Europe and a few working days for most other destinations.
