Compact to heavy-duty wire rope dampeners designed to isolate vibration and stabilise camera payloads across a wide range of UAV and mounting applications.
These Tarot wire rope vibration dampeners are designed to isolate sensitive equipment from vibration and shock in demanding environments. Commonly used on UAVs, gimbals, PTZ camera systems, and vehicle or marine-mounted payloads, they help improve image stability and reduce rolling shutter “jello” effects.
Each unit uses multi-strand, low-twist steel wire formed into a cage structure, providing effective vibration isolation through the material’s inherent viscous damping properties. This allows both continuous vibration and sudden shock loads to be absorbed and dissipated before reaching the mounted equipment.
The mounting plates are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, offering high strength and durability while keeping weight low. A raised mounting hole design and rounded edges help prevent cable wear during installation.
Available in a range of sizes and load ratings, these dampeners can be selected to match different payload weights and mounting requirements, from lightweight camera setups through to heavier HD zoom gimbals.
Important Notes
- Best performance is achieved when installed in tension (pull-type configuration)
- Do not compress or crush the wire rope, as this will damage the damper
- Always select the correct size based on payload weight and mounting orientation
