The RunCam WiFiLink 2 is an advanced digital FPV transmission system built around the OpenIPC open-source platform, giving experienced pilots full control over video quality, latency, bitrate and network configuration. Using high-power 5.8 GHz WiFi and an IMX415 sensor, it delivers smooth HD video at up to 1080p 90 FPS or 720p 120 FPS, making it ideal for long-range experimentation, ground-station setups and custom digital FPV projects.
The system combines a compact IP camera with an actively cooled WiFi VTX housed in a CNC-machined aluminium case for durability and thermal performance. Configuration is handled through OpenIPC tools such as PixelPilot or fpv4win, with access to detailed parameters including codec selection, channel control, bitrate, colour tuning and MAVLink OSD integration.
Two purchase options are available:
Camera + WiFi VTX Only – for pilots who already have a compatible WiFi receiver or ground-station setup.
G Kit – includes the camera, WiFi VTX, an 8812AU USB WiFi dongle and USB-OTG adapter, allowing quick connection to supported Android devices, PCs or single-board computers for ground-station use.
This is a highly configurable, experimental digital FPV platform aimed at advanced users who want maximum flexibility from an open-source HD link.

What is an IP camera?
What is an Internet protocol cameras, also known as IP cameras, are a special style of digital camera designed to send and receive footage over a secure network or internet connection.
They are standalone security devices with their own unique IP addresses. When connected to a local network, footage can be sent from installed IP cameras to a wide range of internet-connected viewing devices, enabling teams to view security feeds remotely.
One of the main advantages of IP cameras is that they don’t require a local recording device like traditional analog CCTV systems. Instead, these cameras can be connected to a local network, just like a computer or a smartphone, with data processed internally to be viewed in real-time.

We are based in the UK and ship to most destinations worldwide.
We dispatch orders during the times shown on our Dispatch Schedule. Orders placed before the daily dispatch cutoff will ship the same day (subject to stock availability). Orders placed after the cutoff will ship on the next scheduled dispatch day.

Royal Mail delivers to residential addresses Monday to Saturday, while courier services (including DHL) typically deliver Monday to Friday.
International Postage
- USA orders: Import duties and taxes are prepaid by us — no additional customs charges on delivery.
- Other destinations: Customs duties or import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Smaller, lower-value orders may be sent via Airmail or tracked postal services. Economy road and express air courier options are available depending on destination. For faster delivery, we recommend express air courier services such as DHL Express, which typically deliver within 1–2 working days across Europe and a few working days for most other destinations.
