If you haven’t already, upgrade you radio control from AAs / NiMH to Lithium Polymer to spend less time charging and more time flying. Lithium polymer batteries last much longer than other packs as they have a far greater energy density. With a capacity of 2200mAh this lipoly replacement for your old NiCD or NiMH will last three to four times longer.
This is not a standard lipo pack. It is a low discharge Lithium Polymer pack, designed specifically for R/C Radio use. Standard LiPo packs are capable of a rapid energy release, which can harm sensitive radio electronics such as a radio control system.
The pack is designed to fits snuggly into most radio that take a 8×4 AA cell battery configuration, like the Walkera DEVO 7 radio.
The pack features several plugs for compatibility with most radios. It has a JST plug for DEVO radios, a JR / Spektrum connection, a Futaba connection and finally a JST-XH charge port plug.
Please Note: Recharge this battery using a LiPo battery balance charger, not via the charge port on your transmitter. When using this battery with a DEVO radio, the battery will need charging when the battery indicator reaches 2 bars, this is because the battery monitor is configured for AA cells. 4 bars indicate fully charged at 12.6volts, 3 bars is about 11.34volts and 2 bars is about 10.8volts.
