The Jumper R8 receiver works as a conventional 8-channel PWM receiver or 16-channel SBUS Rx, for use with FrSky D16 (International Firmware). As receivers go, this one is a little different to others in that it has a unique feature! It has a TX/RX telemetry output, which allows you to connect it to a Pixhawk, PX4 or APM Flight Controller to receive a live telemetry on a compatible RC transmitter, for example the Jumper T16 or Taranis X9D. This is a super useful feature as it means you can get lots of useful information such as flight modes, battery level and error messages direct to your radio in real time without the need for a Mavlink Ground control station.
