GearUp AirBrain H743 Flight Controller 3-10S 20×20 – NDAA Made in the EU

The GearUp AirBrain H743 is a high-performance, EU-built flight controller designed for FPV, autonomous and professional UAV applications. Built around a powerful 480MHz STM32H7 processor, it offers upstream support for Betaflight, ArduPilot and PX4, allowing the same hardware to be used across everything from compact FPV builds and fixed-wing aircraft to mapping, research and industrial UAV platforms.

Designed and manufactured in Belgium, the AirBrain H743 is NDAA compliant, with components sourced from EU, US, Japanese and Taiwanese manufacturers. This makes it particularly suitable for professional and procurement-sensitive applications where component origin and supply-chain transparency are important. GearUp also provides component country-of-origin information for integrators requiring additional supply-chain documentation.

At its heart is an STM32H7 Cortex-M7 MCU running at 480MHz, paired with a clock-synchronised TDK IMU on an isolated low-noise power rail. Synchronising the IMU sampling directly to the MCU clock reduces timing uncertainty between sensor measurements and the control loop, while the isolated sensor supply helps prevent ESC and motor switching noise from reaching the gyro. The current GearUp product page identifies the IMU specifically as the TDK ICM-42688-P.

The AirBrain also integrates an LIS2MDL 3-axis magnetometer, Infineon DPS368 barometer and 128MB onboard NAND flash for Blackbox and persistent logging. Seven UARTs, eight DShot-capable motor outputs, I²C, SPI and additional GPIO provide plenty of connectivity for GPS, receivers, telemetry, VTX systems and other peripherals.

A wide 3-10S (10-42V) input range makes the board suitable for a broad range of aircraft, while onboard 5V 2A and 10V 2.5A BECs can power common peripherals without requiring separate regulators. Battery voltage and current monitoring are built in, together with TVS, reverse-polarity, EMC and ESD protection.

Despite its extensive functionality, the AirBrain uses a compact 20x20mm M3 mounting pattern, measures just 36 x 31 x 10mm and weighs approximately 8g.
