Description
This device by Flytron, allows you to easily control your camera’s shutter via IR signal (your camera must support IR control). This RC controller connects to an available channel on your multicopter’s receiver. It makes it possible to capture aerial photography and epic videos from your quadcopter remotely! The new sLED v2 boards utlises an onboard SMD IR LED, instead of a standard 5mm IR LED, for a lighter, better and stronger design. You can simply attach it to the IR window of your camera with sticky tape.
USING sLED:
- Plug it into any empty channel on your receiver.
- Use a 3 position switch, knob, stick or logical switch for controling the modes.
- Configure your Canon camera for IR Remote.
Control Modes:
- CENTER position: Idle mode of sLED
- UP Position: Photo Shot (works on Photo or video modes)
- DOWN Position: Video Start/Stop (or 2 seconds delay on photo mode)

Note 1: Your model may not be included in the above list. Please check the manual of you camera to see whether it is compatible with IR video start/stop option. Our remote shutter compatible with RC-1 and RC-6 remote shutters of Canon.
Note 2: You should enable “IR remote” mode from your CANON’s video menu before using this device. You can find the remote control menu under DRIVE button of your xxD or xD series machines. If you are using xxxD series machine like 550D, you have to enable “video remote” mode from MENU button when video mode selected.
Different camera brands utilize different IR signal so be sure to pick the appropriate controller for your camera (Canon, Sony or Nikon).
