Tarot 8120 95KV 12S Multirotor Brushless Disc Motor – TL81M20

The Tarot 8120 95KV (TL81M20) is a high-efficiency, large-format outrunner motor designed for 12S long-endurance multirotor platforms. Built as part of Tarot’s Martin Series, it targets applications where stability, efficiency, and sustained flight time are critical.

The motor features a fully CNC-machined housing with a flat, non-marking profile and precise dynamic balancing to minimise vibration. A high-flux NdFeB magnetic rotor combined with a reinforced stator (epoxy-resin impregnated for thermal durability) delivers strong, consistent torque while maintaining efficiency across the throttle range. Large, high-speed precision bearings reduce friction and power loss while improving radial load handling during high RPM operation.

With a 95KV rating and support for large 30-inch props, the 8120 is optimised for low-RPM, high-thrust setups typical of aerial photography, mapping, and industrial UAVs. It has undergone extensive testing for thermal performance, demagnetisation resistance, vibration, and load handling to ensure reliability in demanding conditions.

At 12S with a 30″ (3011) prop, the motor provides up to ~12kg thrust, with peak efficiency in lower throttle ranges, making it well suited for endurance-focused builds.

Recommended pairing includes the Tarot TL100D38 30″ folding propeller (3011) and TL1813 motor mount. It is also a suitable match for Tarot frames such as the TL16H00.
