This 10inch frame kit from Tarot is a great choice for Long Range FPV drone builds. In comparison to smaller frames, even a 7inch, the size of this frame allows it to carry more powerful motors for a faster cruising speed. Its greater stance and mass also allows it greater wind resistance, so you can more easily stay on course.
At an unbeatable price, this frame wins on both value and quality. The frame uses high-strength carbon fibre and aluminium components. The arms are made from 7mm thick carbon fibre making them super strong. The frame’s rigidity is further enhanced with cross braces. The all carbon fibre frame adopts a H-shape layout, which allows for a shorter arm that can then be lighter and stronger in comparison to arms used on a X-frame setup. It also leads to a long and roomy body section for installing your electronics comfortably, making it very easy to build. Speaking of electronics, the frame has mounting points to suit both regular 30.5×30.5mm flight stacks and mini 20x20mm stacks. Rubber damping grommets are included too, which help to reduce the vibrations felt by the flight controller so you can get a locked in tune. In regards to FPV, it is compatible with a 19x19mm sized camera. There is also a cutout to install a SMA antenna.
