Here we have RunCam’s latest airsoft camera, namely the ScopeCam SE. It’s a budget friendly scope camera, the cheapest we’ve come across. Yet it offers a lot of the features found on cameras twice its price.
It has a tough aluminium casing that is cylindrical in design, much like a flashlight. The cylindrical shape in conjunction with the provided 20mm rail mount attachment offers many different mounting options and simple angle adjustment. Users can simply rotate the camera to adjust its recording angle.
The casing also offers a IP64 waterproof rating, making it ideal for a range of outdoor activities.
The camera is capable of recording in 1080P at 60 frames per second, delivering high-definition footage. It also includes RunCam’s “Flashback” feature which until now was only on their most expensive cameras. Flashback is a pre-record function which captures 15 seconds of footage before you hit the record button. So with it, you need not miss that amazing moment, or fill up your memory card too quickly.
The camera also has built-in WiFi, allowing you to review the video or easily make settings adjustments via your smartphone.
ScopeCam SE is powered using a 18650 battery (included), providing up to 200 minutes of recording time. If that’s not enough, you can swap in another 18650 cell, perfect then for extended use.
Lastly, if you connect the camera to your PC, you can use it as a webcam.
