The FrSky TW GR6 is a 6 channel, dual 2.4GHz frequency receiver with built in variometer. It has SBUS/FBUS/S.Port and 6 PWM output channels.
The TW GR6 series TWIN receivers feature a new stable TW protocol that benefits from the simultaneous integration of two active 2.4G frequency bands. The TW active-active protocol differs from generic active-standby redundancy solutions (where one receiver takes over signal control only when the other is in failsafe mode). With the TW protocol, two 2.4G frequency bands are active simultaneously on the TW series receiver.
This receiver is designed for RC users who want to benefit from the failsafe and long range of their radio communications, typically up to ten kilometers. The TW GR6 receiver features an improved, high-precision variometer that provides pilots with fast and accurate altitude and vertical speed data, ideal for any glider pilot.
The TW GR6 receiver is equipped with 2x 2.4G antennas. Signal outputs include one SBUS output channel and 6 PWM output channels. It also supports telemetry functions via FBUS / S.Port. By setting the TW GR6 to use the FBUS protocol in the ETHOS system, signal control and telemetry can be connected to any device supporting the FBUS protocol via only one wire to achieve bidirectional transmission, which also simplifies model building with fewer wires. In addition, the inverted S.port on the receiver allows easy connection of flight controllers.
In addition, the TW GR6 also supports 4ms race mode with extremely low latency. When the race mode is combined with the TW series’ robust dual 2.4G solution, racers will have a fast, stable and reliable signal during racing competitions without fear of signal loss due to interference.
