Jumper T15 takes the best from the legendary Jumper T16 radio and combines it with the new design philosophy used by the Jumper T14.
Using the same housing and ergonomic design as the T14, the T15 benefits from a large 3.5″ colour display which offers touch screen control. It also adds a six button control and is available 7 available eye catching colours options to suit every taste.
In regards to the controls, the T15 uses full size CNC metal Hall sensor gimbals. For other controls, there are plenty: 4 switches, 2 dial potentiometers and 2 press buttons found on the shoulder of the radio. These shoulder button-style switches can be replaced with stick-style switches (sold separately). The T15 also includes six additional โflight modeโ buttons on the front plate, which are absent in the T14. These buttons have backlit LED and double as the battery level indicator when charging.
The T15 benefits from using integrated memory. This replaces a conventional SD card, greatly increasing the reliability of the radio and is officially recommended by the EdgeTX team.
The T15 radio is compatible with ExpressLRS receivers (ELRS for short). ELRS is a control link that offers incredible range, high refresh rates, adjustable power, updates via wifi and more – see further info here. ELRS at 2.4GHz outperforms conventional RC systems in everyway while maintaining short antennas. The ELRS transmitting module used in the T15 has a power output of up to 1000mW and a refresh rate of up to 1kHz. The antenna on the radio antenna is moveable. It has two adjustable joints which allow you to orientate it in any direction. Handy for matching the polarisation on your aircraftโs receiving antenna to further enhance reception strength.
On the back of the T15 we find a folding handle for easy transport. Also a standard JR bay for expansion with external modules, say for example a 4in1 multi-protocol module. There’s also a fan for active cooling of the ELRS module. The battery bay can accommodate two Li-Ion batteries (not included) of size 21700 or 18650 for a lengthly runtime. They can be quickly charged via the USB-C connector. The Jumper T15 supports 10W charging power. Incidentally the USB-C can also be used to connect the radio to flight simulators should you wish to get even more use out of the radio.
