Fat Shark make high quality FPV goggles, but their anti-fog fan system isn’t the best. The airflow is weak and you can’t change the speed level or easily turn it on/off like you can on Skyzone’s latest goggles. It’s time for an upgrade and now you can easily with this retrofittable fan hub speed controller module. The module, improves the power of the airflow, has 3 speed levels and provides a simple on/off button making it’s operation much more convenient.
The upgrade is super easy to install and seperate from the goggle’s main circuit board so don’t let that put you off – the process is described here. It can be used with any of the Fat Shark FPV goggles with a Faceplate fan (excluding the new HDO2).
Features:
- Short click turns the fan On/Off (Red LED turns on)
- Double click to change the fan speed, there are three levels and the last level is saved after power off
- Bridge the pads to have fan on for 30mins then off automatically (simular to orginal)
Remember to unplug battery when you are not using the fan to avoid over-discharging the battery.
Installation:
- 1. Open up the PCB cover
- 2. Desolder the original board
- 3. Solder on the new one
- 4. Screw the cover back on and you are done.
