Caddx Infra Night Vision Camera V2 (Analog)

The Caddx Infra is a night vision camera that can see in near enough complete darkness, revealing details you can’t believe possible. Caddx say it’s the first “no-light night vision analog camera in the FPV market, capable of capturing images even in 0 Lux conditions.” The camera “sees” using infrared light and makes use of an “AI Box” to help improve and enhance image quality.

Now in its V2 edition, the Infra features a new AI night vision enhancement algorithm that boosts image clarity by over 30% in low-light conditions. It uses AI multi-frame algorithms to enhance dynamic range at night, effectively reducing overexposure and underexposure while preserving full image details, allowing you to better capture object shapes and contours in darkness. The upgraded AI processing chip allows for a more compact processor module, making the device thinner and lighter than before.

The image sensor outputs in a native 4:3 aspect ratio, providing a full, uncropped image with sharp pixel clarity, while the 131.6° ultra-wide-angle lens offers FPV pilots an expansive, real-time view for better situational awareness. It supports WDR, ensuring detailed shooting in dark environments, and features a metal case for improved durability and heat dissipation, while a brand-new optical design reduces lens size without compromising light intake.

The camera remains very specialised and is not recommended as a general-purpose FPV camera. While it can be used in daylight, the output is black and white, with image performance truly excelling in low-light levels.

The wiring and setup for the Caddx Infra is the same as any regular analog camera, using 3 wires: power (9-24V input), ground, and video.
