EWRF e708TM3 48CH VTX with 4 Power Modes & SmartAudio
This version is adjustable and has 4 power output options, 25, 200, 600mW and pit mode.
Power Output 25mW:
This setting is legal in Europe and the UK, it’s 25mW power output and 27 channels are free to use in these areas without a license. Even at this low power with a standard antenna you can achieve a range of approximately 200 metres. However, if you use good quality antennas you should be able to achieve in excess of 300 metres. Low power settings are perfect for indoor environments; high-powered transmitters often cause multipathing (poor signal quality caused by the signal being reflected by obstacles).
Power Output 200mW:
200mW is a power output used by a lot of FPV mini quad racers. It’s enough to provide a decent range and reception and equally will not cause massive interference which spoils everyone else’s fun or cause excessive drain on your battery.
Power Output 600mW:
On this setting the transmitter certainly packs a punch, 600mW is enough for 1km plus line of sight long-range flights.
Features:
- Adjustable power modes: 25mW/200mW/600mW/OFF (Pitmode)
- Smart Audio function for BetaFlight OSD control
- Easy push-button channel / power selection
- 48 channels / 6 Bands – includes Race Band channels compatible with Fatshark & ImmersionRC gear
- 5V Onboard quiet switching regulator for FPV camera
- Flexible 6-25v (2s-6s input)
VTX with Smart Audio, it works exactly as TBS Unify: Solder the “PWM” wire from the VTX to the FC, choose a spare UART port (TX), then set that port in betaflight to smart audio.
