If you are looking to add LED lighting to your racing drone the Matek 2812 lighting systems provides a neat plug and play solution. The setup consist of the Matek 2812 LED Controller (this product) and RGB LED Strips available separately - here. The controller boasts seven colour options and seven flashing modes. It has four output channels, so one for each arm on a quadcopter and supports control of up to 48 LEDs in total (12 per channel).
These RGB LED strips are an ideal size for adding to the arms of your racing drone or even an FPV wing. They are designed to work with the Matek 2812 LED Controller for a plug and play setup, but they are also compatible directly with a BetaFlight controller.
This voltage regulator is similar to the Matek 1.5A Mini BEC, the difference being this one can handle a wider input voltage 6-30V vs. 7-21V, and its output can be set at 5V or 9V, vs. 5V or 12V. The voltage output of this BEC is selected by a simple solder tab; by default it is set to output 5 volts, with the solder tabs connected it will output 9 volts.
