Choosing which prop/motor/ESC/battery combination works best for your multirotor is made much easier by using a power analyser like this one from ToolKitRC. While you can study spec sheets and use simulation tools like ecalc to help, there's no equivalent to actually getting to grips with the numbers yourself. With this advanced power meter you can measure; Current, Voltage, Peak Current (Amps), Power (Watts), Peak Power (Watts) and Capacity Accumulation (mAh) values in real-time. This information is displayed very clearly on its 2.4inch full colour display, which helpfully includes a graphical representation of the current draw.
The meter is easily connected; it simply sits in-line between your battery and device. So if for example you were testing the running efficiency of a prop, you would have the meter wired in between your speed controller and battery. If you were monitoring the performance of your battery charger, you would connect the unit between the battery and the charger. The great thing about the meter is it includes a PWM output, so you can drive ESCs and Servos from the meter itself without needing to use radio control equipment or a servo tester. The meter is also self-powered from the measured power supply so you don't need to worry about an additional power supply, unless your input voltage is less than 6volts when you should provide 5V power via the USB input.
The meter is rated at up to 150amps and 50volts.
Update: The latest firmware release, now allows the display of Peak Amps and Peak Watts.
- ToolkitRC WM150 is a Watt Meter, which is capable to test voltage, power, current data of the electric equipment, like a servo, ESC, battery, etc.
- 1-50V power supply, the max current is up to 150A, the precision is accurate to 10mA.
- Support PWM signal, 1us precision, the pulse width is changeable by adjusting the button.
- Automatically to change the unit of the capacity, when it is lower than 1A, the unit-display is MA, when it is higher than 1A, the unit-display is changed to A.
- The wattmeter is also supporting to display working hours.
- USB firmware update, easy to operate.
- To measure the actual values of current (A), voltage (V) and power (W).
- Ensure peak currents are within tolerance for your power system.
- Check battery health and performance.
- Evaluate R/C battery charging efficiency.
- Charge put into and discharge from a battery.
- Presence of voltage sags that cause components to operate out of specification.
- Assist with the correct selection of propellor and test efficiencies.
- Estimate running time for your model.
- Check for wiring and connector power losses.
- To verify the operating voltage of your flight pack under load and measure the quantity of charge drawn from the flight.
Power Input: Connect 1-50V power supply - when the voltage is lower than 6V, use USB 5V to provide power.

COVID-19: We are still shipping out orders daily, but have changed our same day shipping cut-off time to 1PM to help cope with demand. If an order is placed after 1PM we will still do our best to ship same day as our daily postal collection is around 4:15.
Please be aware that deliveries with Royal Mail are taking longer to get through. At the moment we are finding it can range from next day to even up to two weeks, with 3-5 days being typical. So if you choose Royal Mail as a shipping method please be patient, shipments aren’t going missing they are just taking a while to get through the postal service. For fast deliveries we recommend choosing DHL.
All information relating to shipping and delivery is stated here. Should you not find what you are looking for, please contact us.
Shipping costs are calculated once items have been placed in your basket during checkout.
UK Postage: Here at Flying Tech we process orders Monday to Friday and pride ourselves on our quick turnaround of orders. If stocks levels allow, we aim to dispatch orders placed before 4PM the same day with Royal Mail. Our cut off time for courier delivery is earlier; orders must be placed by 1PM for next day delivery with DHL and 1PM for next day delivery with APC. A confirmation email will be sent when your order has been dispatched. If you wish to change your order, please contact us promptly, as we won't be able to make amendments once the order has been shipped.
We are partnered with several delivery companies including Royal Mail, DHL, APC and Parcel Force. If you have a special delivery requirement or would like to arrange a shop collection please contact us.
