This power distribution board provides a tidy solution to power your speed controllers and other electronics. Simply plug in your ESC's 3.5mm male connectors and you are ready to go. It's compatibile with up to 8 ESCs, so this board can also be used for hexacopters etc. The board also features a 2 pin, JST size auxiliary power out port that is perfect for powering LEDs or any accessories fitted to your copter. The PCB is gold plated for optimal efficiency.

About Power Distribution Boards (PDBs): A PDB is used to distribute power from the flight battery to the speed controllers (ESCs) and other auxiliaries. They make for a tidy and reliable installation. The alternative is a bird’s nest of cables back to the flight battery and a higher risk of bad connections over time, as connecting/disconnecting your battery will tugged on your wiring. Additionally if you need to replace an ESC you will have to cut into the wiring harness to detach it, with a PDB it's simply a case of unplugging/desoldering a connection. That said, if you are only wiring up a small quadcopter and space is tight, a wiring harness might be a better and lighter solution. Great consideration should be given to your power distribution, as any failure in the system will likely result in a loss of power to the motors. In this regard ensuring that your solution is able to handle the peak current draw from your electronics is top priority.

Hi, I want to use this octo board for a quad. Can I connect ESCs to any of the connectors I want or must I connect one to each side? I'd like to connect all four escs onto two sides of the board to make access easier.

Thanks

That would be absolutely fine - all of the power outputs are wired in parallel, so you can plug any ESC into any of the connectors.

I have a Hexacopter and I wonder if this system would in my case and I'll put two batteries in parallel for a total of 60C to which you want to connect ESCs 30A .
